The System
Information window is divided into two
panes. On the left is an expandable tree
listing the major hardware and software
components and resources in your system.
Expand and contract parts of the tree by
clicking on the [+] and [–] symbols.
In the right-hand pane is information
about the item selected on the left.
What you see ranges
from nothing at all (the component or
resource might not be available on your
PC, for example infrared devices) or a
driver version or date, up to a detailed
and useful listing. In some cases radio
buttons will let you specify the level of
detail.
